How to set up anesthesia machine veterinary？

 At present, we can divide the anesthesia machine into two,One is a veterinary anesthesia machine without ventilator and the other is with a ventilator.Ventilators are used to control and assist animal breathing

Now let's take the Dolphinmed vet anesthesia machine（DA1200V1 witout ventilator）as an example, share the steps for using an anesthesia machine when animals are breathing spontaneously

Step1 
Conect the gas surce hose to the oxygen cylinder or central gas supply and adjust to 0.4Mpa.（regulator vary by region）

Step2
Conect the breathing circuit and manual bag. 

Step3 
Check if the anesthetic in the vaporizer is sufficient to sustain the procedure.

Step 4
Make the pop valve open.

Step5
Adjust the flow to make the machine work normally and check for air leaks from the machine（If the manual bag on the circuit and breathing circuit do not deflate, the machine is leaking.Please contact whatsapp +86-13121617686  for the more detail method of checking the air tightness）

Step6
After the machine can work normally,set the folw and anesthetic concentration.

1.set the fow to 3L/min
2.set the anesthetic concentration to 3 vol%
Than remove the manual bag on the breathing circuit to connect the animal（Connections are made after the animals have been induced to anesthetize）
After 3 minutes,adjust the flow and concentration to appropriate value（Maintenance flow and concentration are based on animal weight and anesthesia status）
 
Step7 
Start surgery.

Step 8
Close the anesthesia concerntration minutes before the completion of surgical suture, keep other parameters unchanged, and continue to work.

Step9
When the animal's spontaneous breathing ability is relatively strong, tracheal extubation can be performed.

Step10
After unplugging the intubation, turn off the regulator, press oxygen flush, and release the excess gas in the machine.
